About me

I’m a graduate student in Seppe Kuehn’s lab at the University of Chicago.

I’m interested in studying microbial communities using quantitative methods. Currently I’m studying the structures and functions of Yellowstone hot spring microbial communities, the prokaryote denitrification pathway, and closed ecosystems. Prior to Kuehn lab, I studied statistical physics and computational neuroscience.

My name is pronounced like “Ze-Chian Li’
